Anton Bashynskyi

Anton Bashynskyi

was born in 1991 in Pology (Ukraine). First piano lessons with his mother, later with Boris Fedorov and Boris Archimovich at the National “Tchaikovsky Akedemie” in Kiev and with Larisa Hovhanesyan at the Music Academy in Mariupol.

From 2006 to 2010 he attended the boarding high school of music in Kharkiv (piano department with Natalia Schrebzova), from which he graduated with honors. Already as a student he was a laureate of 6 Ukrainian competitions (Melitopol, Zaporozhye, Kharkiv) and in 2009 he was a finalist of the competition “Karl Filtsch” in Sibiu (Romania).

In 2010 he went to Switzerland, where he studied with Tomasz Herbut at the Hochschule der Künste in Bern, as well as with Konstantin Lifschitz at the Musikhochschule Luzern. In 2012, he began piano studies at the Kunstuniversität Graz with Milana Chernyavska.

He participated in master classes with Andrzej Pikul (Krakow), Bernd Glemser (Würzburg) and Klaus Hellwig (Berlin). From 2014 - 2018 he won five more solo and chamber music competitions in Dnepropetrovsk (Ukraine), Tenerife (Spain), Padova, Val Tidone, Salerno, Stradella and Sansepolcro (Italy).

2017 Bachelor degree with honors in piano major with Milana Chernyavska at the University of Performing Arts Graz (KUG) and since then Master student at KUG. Additionally studies at the Accademia del Ridotto with Aquiles Delle Vigne in Stradella, Italy. 2018 - 2019 Erasmus student with Ruben Dalibaltayan at the ‘‘Academy of Zagreb". He performed as part of the festival “Cello Fundamento” with Aleksey Shadrin (Kronberg Academy) at the Opera House in Hanoi (Vietnam) and performed as a concert pianist and chamber musician in Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary and Ukraine.

He worked as a accompanist at the International Chamber Music Days in Raumberg/Irdning in Styria from 2016-2021, and at the Violoncello Master Course in Veszprem (Hungary) with Rudolf Leopold and Andrea Molnár in 2019. Since 2019 he is an accompanist at the Kunstuniversität Graz in the double bass class of Ernst Weissensteiner. In March 2021 master’s degree with distinction in piano major with Milana Chernyavska. Since 2021 master studies chamber music with Chia Chou and bachelor instrumental pedagogy studies for piano at the Kunstuniversität Graz.
